Now, I would first start by saying that a big chunk of alkaline food can be easily found in the produce section in any supermarket.
We recommend organic foods as best, but regular produce will do as well – just remember to always wash it well because of the use of insecticide and herbicides.

Give your salad some extra jazz by adding fresh garlic, radishes, tomatoes, fresh thyme, mint or basil.
…and of course…onions.
Other zesty options include peppers of any color such as green, red or yellow…

- Brussels Sprouts with Pistachios and Lemon
Serves 4
This one is quick and easy and will leave feeling energized and full. (6)
Heat 2 tbsp of grass-fed butter in a skillet or wok.
Add ¾ cup of pistachios and some lemon zest and sauté for 1 minute.
Add around the leaves of 16 Brussels sprouts (NOT the whole sprouts) and toss until bright green (About 5 minutes)
Squeeze the juice from the lemon where you took the zest and add some salt and pepper (or other herbs) for taste.
This tasty little treat is loaded with minerals and vitamins and is very alkaline.
9. Avocado, Tomato, and Red Onion Salad

Dice 2 Avocados into small pieces.
